Langham Hotels rebrands former Ritz-Carlton in Pasadena, Calif.

A former Ritz-Carlton in Pasadena, Calif., is now The Langham, Huntington Hotel and Spa.

Langham Hotels International, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Great Eagle Holdings Hong Kong, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week to mark the reflagging of the 100-year-old hotel, which is the luxury brands second U.S. property.

Its other U.S. property -- The Langham, Boston -- opened in 2004.

Langham said it will invest $25 million in upgrades to the California property.
