MGM Resorts International has named Bill
Hornbuckle CEO and president, effective immediately.

Hornbuckle had been serving as acting CEO and
president since March, following the departure of Jim Murren.
Hornbuckle previously served as MGM’s president and COO.
Prior to that, he was chief marketing officer from 2009 to 2012. He also has
served as president and COO of Mandalay Bay, MGM Resorts International-Europe,
MGM Grand, Caesars Palace and Golden Nugget Laughlin and was vice president of
hotel operations for the Mirage when it opened in 1989.
