The historic Magnolia Hotel St. Louis has become that city's
first property to join Marriott International's Tribute Portfolio.
The hotel, which
opened in 1924 as the Mayfair Hotel and is on the National Register of Historic
Places, has 182 rooms, including a suite whose design was inspired by actor
Cary Grant, once a regular guest.
The property offers guests free downtown St. Louis car
service in a Tesla Model S electric sedan. Iconic St. Louis chocolatier
Bissinger's supplies in-room chocolates.The property also features Robie's restaurant.
Marriott took over the Tribute Portfolio when it acquired Starwood
Hotels & Resorts in September.
