One Bangkok, a development to be built on a 41-acre site
near the city's Lumphini Park, will include five hotels when completed in 2025.
Majority owner TCC Assets and minority owner Frasers
Centerpoint plan to open the first phase of the $3.5 billion project in 2021
and finish the site four years later. The development will have an emphasis on
sustainability, including setting aside almost half the site for green space
and ensuring that the project's five office towers qualify for Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
The developers didn't disclose the hotel brands, though
Frasers Centerpoint oversees both U.K.-based brands Malmaison and Hotel du Vin
as well as serviced residences under the Fraser Suites, Fraser Place and Modena
by Fraser brands.
One Bangkok will also have three luxury residential towers
as well as retail space and civic/cultural areas.
