Omni Hotels & Resorts CEO Jim Caldwell also has assumed the
president's role after longtime executive Mike Deitemeyer stepped down to
pursue other opportunities.
Caldwell, who is also president of Omni parent TRT Holdings,
has served as Omni's CEO for 13 years. Omni has 60 hotels throughout North
America.
Deitemeyer's association with TRT dated 25 years. He joined
Omni when TRT acquired the hotel company in 1996, and had been Omni's president
since 2004.
