The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is banking on star
power with its latest ad campaign.
Running under the tagline "Unstatus Quo," the
campaign centers on a short film with cameos from musical artists
Cardi B, Rita Ora and Ozuna, supermodels Emily Ratajkowski and Adriana Lima and
chef Michael Symon, among other celebrities.
The film, which was directed by Grammy winner Sam Brown,
will beginning running on television and online today.
The video also features a new music track made exclusively
for the campaign, created in collaboration with Los Angeles recording artist
and designer Duckwrth. Like the ad campaign, the song is titled "Unstatus
Quo."
The campaign launch comes as the Palms nears completion of a
$690 million renovation and prepares to unveil its KAOS entertainment venue.
Comprising a 73,000-square-foot day club and 29,000-square-foot nightclub, KAOS
will offer live performances and host residencies with musical artists as well
as feature artwork like Damien Hirst's 60-foot sculpture "Demon with Bowl."
KAOS is set to host an opening weekend celebration from April
5-7, featuring performances by Skrillex, Travis Scott and Cardi B.
