Renaissance hotel to open in Honolulu

Marriott International is bringing its Renaissance Hotels brand to Honolulu.

The Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa will be housed within a 39-story tower in the Hawaiian city's downtown. According to the hotel's website, reservations are available starting April 14.

Each of the hotel's 299 rooms will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as fully equipped kitchens outfitted with Subzero and Wolf appliances.

The property will be home to several food and beverage venues, including signature restaurant Mara, which will showcase a menu of Mediterranean-inspired tapas and seafood. Additional F&B options will include a pool deck bar and grill and a club lounge as well as a café and grab-and-go outlet in the lobby.

The hotel's eighth floor will be occupied by the Sky Terrace and Renaissance Spa, where guests will have access to an Olympic-size lap pool. Other spa amenities will include traditional Japanese soaking tubs, Himalayan salt saunas, steam rooms, cold plunge baths and a fitness center with yoga studio.

Daily rates at the Renaissance Honolulu start in the $300 range.
