Ritz-Carlton will enter Mexico's Los Cabos region early next year with the opening of a Reserve resort on the coast of San Jose del Cabo.

Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is named for the area's expanse of dunes ("dunas" in Spanish) and will consist of 115 rooms. The property, which will offer guests views of the Sea of Cortes, will also include a yet-to-be-disclosed number of luxury residences.

Ritz-Carlton, which is a division of Marriott International, has Reserve properties in Puerto Rico, Bali and Thailand.
