The Rosewood Tucker's Point in Bermuda will close for three
months in January for a three-month, $25 million renovation, and will reopen as
the Rosewood Bermuda.
Gencom, which acquired the property this past spring, will
update the resort's 92 rooms with contemporary artwork and furnishings from
local artists, and will upgrade its beach club and golf course.
The resort will have a new restaurant featuring Bermudian
cuisine called Island Brasserie. The Sense spa and Tucker's Bar rum bar will
receive upgrades.
Rosewood took over the resort in 2010, the year after it
opened. The resort sits on 200 acres of beachfront.
