Rosewood launching lifestyle brand for business travelers

|

Rosewood Hotel Group next year plans to debut a lifestyle brand that will target business travelers.

The brand will be called Khos, and its hotels will be "designed specifically for the modern business traveler," Rosewood said. The hotels will have public areas that can double up as work and social space, and will feature restaurants with communal tables.

The name stems from the Mongolian word for "pair," symbolizing an approach that will merge business with social activities, and Eastern with Western cultures. The brand will be "inspired by the energy, art, innovation, creativity, style and dynamism of modern-day Asia," Rosewood said.

Rosewood is targeting "capital cities and urban portals" for Khos, and wasn't specific about where the brand's first hotels will be.

Rosewood has 59 hotels in 18 countries.
