The Rosewood Phnom Penh has opened atop the tallest building
in Cambodia.
The 175-room hotel occupies the 14 upper floors of the
39-story, 617-foot Vattanac Capital Tower.
The hotel features the 37th floor Sora (the Japanese word
for "sky"), which sits on a cantilevered terrace and is the city's
highest bar; Iza, an izakaya-style Japanese restaurant; the 35th floor Brasserie
Louis, featuring French and Cambodian cuisine; and the Living Room, a residential-like
retreat serving breakfast, snacks and evening cocktails.
Rosewood calls the property its first urban hotel in
Southeast Asia. Its rooms range in size from 538 square feet to the
2,400-square-foot Norodom House.
