Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will debut operations in
Vienna in 2021, as the luxury-hotel operator continues to expand throughout
Europe.
The Rosewood Vienna will be redeveloped out of an 18th century
building that previously served as the headquarters for Erste Group Bank.
The 99-room hotel, Rosewood's fifth in Europe, will be
located on Petersplatz in Vienna's Old Town. The property will have a garden
restaurant, a rooftop bar and a Sense-branded spa.
Rosewood oversees 19 hotels worldwide, though just two --
Italy's Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco and the Rosewood London -- are in Europe.
Rosewood will reopen Paris' iconic Hotel de Crillon next month after a
four-year renovation, and will debut the Rosewood Edinburgh in 2020.
