CANNES, France — Rosewood Hotels will take over management of the Hotel de Crillon in Paris when the property reopens in 2015 after a two-year renovation.
Rosewood spokesman Brett Perkins made the announcement at the International Luxury Travel Market here on Tuesday. He declined to say how much will be spent on the hotel’s renovation.
Concorde Hotels & Resorts had previously operated the Crillon.
Located on Place de la Concorde, the 147-room hotel is in a structure that dates to 1758 and has operated as a hotel for more than a century.
“In terms of putting Rosewood on the map in Europe, you couldn’t get a better property than this,” Perkins said.
Rosewood's only other hotel in Europe, the Rosewood London, opened in October.
