Six Senses is making its foray into Israel with the opening of a hotel in the Negev Desert this June.

The Six Senses Shaharut blends into and draws design inspiration from its desert surroundings. Many of the hotel’s furniture and fittings are crafted by local artisans, made with natural materials like stone, wood and copper.

The Six Senses Shaharut features 60 suites and villas as well as amenities like an open-air amphitheater and camel stables. Guests will be able to opt for a variety of outdoor activities, including camel treks, hikes, Jeep safaris and stargazing. Wellness programs will be on offer at the Six Senses Spa.
