A new platform connecting U.S. travel advisors with luxury hotels, The Luxurist, has launched.

The Luxurist is powered by HBX Group and offers some 3,300 properties worldwide. HBX Group owns Hotelbeds, Bedsonline and Roiback. The Luxurist's supply comes via direct contracting with luxury chains and hotels, said Luxurist CEO David Amsellem.

The Luxurist has a 24/7 concierge team. Amsellem said advisors have access to content not available on other platforms, including tips and insights from its concierge and from "selected social media influencers, with recommendations on hidden or exclusive experiences in-hotel or in-destination."

Amsellem called the platform "sophisticated and exceptional."

"The luxury travel industry has long operated on fragmented systems that do not match the level of excellence high-end clients expect," Amsellem said. "We are changing that."

The platform is available to advisors as they plan as well as travelers in-destination looking for tips and recommendations via WhatsApp.

Travel advisors who are currently HBX partners have access to The Luxurist. Advisors new to the company can access the platform, but they must be verified before their first booking.

There is no charge to use the platform. It offers several commission tiers, paying 12% to 15% on accommodations.
