The Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver
celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday, attracting about 100 protesters
outside of the building, the CBC reported.
Protesters sang "O Canada" and chanted "We
want peace," according to the CBC.
President Trump has handed off leadership of his companies,
including the luxury hotel business, to sons Donald Jr. and Eric as well as
Trump Hotels CEO Eric Danziger.
The 69-story tower, which is located on Georgia Street, has
147 guestrooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel features a Drai's
nightclub, the Trump Champagne Lounge, the Mott 32 Chinese restaurant and a Spa
by Ivanka Trump.
