Salterra, a new Turks & Caicos resort expected to open in early 2025, will be part of Marriott International's Luxury Collection.

Situated on South Caicos Island, the property is a revamp of the former East Bay Resort.

Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa will open with 100 rooms, including one- and two-bedroom suites as well as three-bedroom Governor's Penthouse suites. All guest rooms will be outfitted with filtered water dispensers, eliminating the need for single-use plastic bottles.

On the culinary front, the resort will have six food and beverage offerings, including the Latin-inspired Cobo Bar & Grill, which will be located beachfront; food truck concept Jack & Jenny's; and grab-and-go eatery Flamingo Cafe.

Fine dining will be on offer at Brine, which will showcase a chef's tasting menu and an expansive wine list. Outdoor terrace venue Regatta will serve a mix of international and local cuisine for breakfast and dinner.

Rounding out the resort's F&B lineup is Sisal, a lobby bar specializing in craft cocktails.

Salterra will feature a spa with eight treatment rooms, an outdoor lounge, a sauna and a steam room.

The resort will be the first Turks & Caicos property in the Luxury Collection portfolio.
