Palladium Hotel Group next fall will open a two-hotel resort
near Cancun.
The development will add more than 1,100 total guestrooms as well
as a village with an amphitheater, restaurants, bars and kids clubs.
The Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa will have
673 rooms, nine restaurants, four pools and a 16,000-square-foot convention
center that can accommodate almost 1,400 people.
The hotel will also feature a 51,000-square-foot spa and
wellness center and will offer guests activities such as snorkeling, diving and
Pilates.
The hotel will feature a network of canals enabling guests
to access all parts of the property via boat.
The 473-room TRS Coral Hotel will be all-inclusive and
adults-only, and will include four restaurants, an infinity pool and a beach
club.
The development will be about a 20-minute drive from Cancun
proper.
Spain-based Palladium Hotel Group oversees 48 hotels
totaling almost 14,000 rooms, including six resorts in Mexico.
