Virgin Hotels is entering Atlanta, announcing plans to plant its flag at Centennial Yards, a new $5 billion mixed-use development in downtown Atlanta.

Set to open in 2027, the Virgin Hotels Atlanta will feature 261 rooms, including 21 one-bedroom suites, a penthouse suite and Richard's Flat, a top-tier residential-style accommodation.

Food and beverage offerings will include a ground-floor lobby bar with an outdoor patio, a signature restaurant and pool bar, and a rooftop bar and lounge.

The hotel will also feature a pool deck with 10 private cabanas, a seasonal exterior bar and an event lawn as well as approximately 2,900 square feet of meeting space.

The 50-acre Centennial Yards project consists of retail, restaurant, entertainment and residential components, and is also home to the 292-room Hotel Phoenix Atlanta, which opened late last year.

The Virgin Hotels Atlanta will join existing Virgin Hotels in New York; Nashville; Dallas; New Orleans; Las Vegas; London; and Edinburgh, Scotland.
