The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills has opened. It is the luxury
brand's second property in California and its first new hotel on the U.S. West
Coast.
The 170-room property, which includes 51 suites, is located
next to the Beverly Hilton at the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards
and within walking distance of the city's famed Rodeo Drive.
The hotel, developed by Alagem Capital Group and Guggenheim
Partners, offers free Rolls Royce shuttle service within a two-mile radius, and
boasts three restaurants helmed by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
With a Streamline Moderne-influenced design, the hotel has
Beverly Hills' highest pool deck as well as a spa and 6,300 square feet of
meeting space.
