Air France Holidays flying on Concorde again

NEW YORK -- Air France Holidays relaunched its deluxe Concorde Vacations product suspended after the fatal July 2000 crash of a French supersonic Concorde.

The custom vacation packages to Paris, the French Riviera and Monte Carlo combine travel from New York (Kennedy) to Paris via the Concorde -- which began flying again Nov. 7 -- with three nights' deluxe accommodations, roundtrip private car transfers and a return subsonic flight in Air France's L'Espace business class.

Package prices, based on double occupancy and good for travel through March 31, start at $5,569 per person. Air France Holidays pays agents 10% commission on the package.

Roundtrip flights on the Concorde -- at an additional $2,299 per person -- extra hotel nights and luxury add-ons, such as cooking demonstrations and truffle lunches, also are available.
