MILWAUKEE -- TriSept Solutions mounted the first agency Web site of
its new Web distribution system, eLeisureNetwork.
The site is aVacation.com, the Web site of Admiral Travel Center
of St. Charles, Ill. It is the first agency Web site to become a
fully functioning part of the network.
ELeisure-Network is a business-to-business system that enables
agencies to plug their Web sites into the booking engine and
leisure travel inventory of Vacationaccess.com (VAX).
Participating agencies can sell the brands of the network --
including Funjet Vacations, United Vacations, US Airways Vacations,
Carnival Cruises and Mayflower Tours -- through their own branded
Web sites.
The system was first announced in April 2000 by William
LaMacchia, who is the chairman of TriSept Solutions' parent
company, LaMacchia Enterprises.
"It was anticipated that it would have launched earlier," said a
spokeswoman for TriSept Solutions. "But we wanted to be sure that
it was working correctly."
Brian Robb, chief marketing officer of TriSept Solutions, calls
the product, "a turnkey engine that will revolutionize a private
company's ability to offer travel on the Web."
Now that beta testing is over, many other agencies are expected
to become part of the network.
