ASTA has launched a podcast, "Travel You Can Trust: An ASTA Podcast," which is "designed to connect travel advisors, travel professionals as well as the traveling public with trusted insights from the world's leading association of travel professionals."
The podcast's co-hosts are Alvin Adriano, ASTA's director of education, and Michael Schottey, ASTA's vice president of membership, marketing and communications. The show will feature advice from experts and updates from ASTA headquarters.
The first two episodes are out now. Episodes will be released biweekly.
Featured on episode one, "Why Professional Travel Advisors Matter," are ASTA president and CEO Zane Kerby and Vicki Freed, Royal Caribbean International's senior vice president of sales, trade support and service.
Episode two, "How Advisors and Suppliers Work Together for Travelers," features Nexion Travel Group president Jackie Friedman and Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, president and CEO of tour operator Collette.
The podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and iHeartRadio. A video version is available on ASTA's YouTube channel.
