Former ASTA president Chris Russo has been named president of the host agency Legato.
Russo was most recently director of sales for Insight Vacations. He has also been a business development manager for Travel Impressions, a national accounts manager for Travel Insured International and the president of Travel Partners.
Russo owned his own travel agency for 12 years, and served as ASTA's president for three of those years, from 2008 until early 2011.
Legato, based in Colorado Springs, Colo., has been in business for three years and hosts around 150 independent contractors.
