Travel Leaders Group has made its second acquisition this
week, Colletts Travel Limited, a U.K.-based luxury agency, as well as its
Colletts Collection.
"Due to its highly valued and repeat client base,
Colletts Travel will maintain its distinct brand identity within Travel Leaders
UK, Travel Leaders Group's United Kingdom operations," Travel Leaders
Group said in a statement.
The acquisition was completed Tuesday. Travel Leaders UK now
includes Colletts Travel, Protravel International UK and Tzell UK.
Colletts' leadership, managing directors Roy Collett and
Michael Berlin, will report to Gail Grimmett, president of the Elite Division
of Travel Leaders Group.
"What attracted us to Colletts is its strong brand
reputation within the U.K.'s luxury leisure market," said Travel Leaders
Group CEO Ninan Chacko. "Colletts only strengthens our already formidable
expertise in counseling luxury clientele both in the United Kingdom and throughout
the world."
Colletts Travel was established by Roy Collett in 1983 and
has annual sales of around $57 million.
Earlier this week, Travel Leaders Group announced another
acquisition in the luxury space, the Andrew Harper Travel Office and Andrew
Harper Alliance.
