The 39th annual Marketplace event, hosted by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, will go virtual this year.
Dates are set for May 11 to 14.
Marketplace gatherings have brought together Caribbean hospitality and tourism professionals with regional colleagues, and the events include hundreds of meetings set by appointment between buyers and sellers; it has always been regarded as an opportunity to network and showcase destinations and products.
Details regarding workshops, seminars and webinars will be announced in the coming weeks, according to Vanessa Ledesma, the association's acting CEO.
The 2020 Marketplace, held at Baha Mar in Nassau in late January, was one of the last large trade events to be held in person before Covid-19 began closing borders and shutting down travel.
