The Lovango Resort & Beach Club in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, will hold its inaugural Taste of Lovango food festival May 2 to 4.
The festival will include guest appearances from Tiffani Faison, a "Top Chef" winner and nominee for a James Beard Award for Best Chef of the Northeast, and Adrianne Calvo, an Emmy-nominated restaurateur who has been featured on CNN and Food Network. Additional chefs curating food for the event include Robbie Felice, a James Beard Rising Star semifinalist, Brian Arruda, founder of Executive Chefs at Home, a chef-hiring website, and Stephen Belie, executive chef at Lovango Resort & Beach Club.
Options range from single-event tickets to the Overnight Package, which includes accommodations. Among the events: the Mutiny Island Vodka Opening Party, Taste of Lovango Prix Fixe Dinner and Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park Dining Experience, which closes the event. Pricing options include ferry transportation between St. John and St. Thomas.
