Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana will debut in the Dominican Republic on Oct. 1.
The resort will be the second for the Island Reserve brand created in partnership with Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Margaritaville and the first in the Dominican Republic.
"After launching the Island Reserve concept in the Riviera Maya, we're thrilled to continue our partnership with Margaritaville to bring this lifestyle to the Dominican Republic in a way that captures Cap Cana as a destination," said Mario Mathieu, Karisma's senior vice president of business development, design and construction.
The partnership with Karisma has been a fruitful one for Margaritaville, as well, as it expands its footprint in the Caribbean, according to John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville.
The resort sits on Playa Juanillo, 15 minutes from the Punta Cana airport, and features 228 suites, 40 luxe villas with private pools and a choice of 13 room categories from swim-up to honeymoon suites.
Villa guests will have access to a lagoon pool and a swim-up bar featuring hanging beds.
The Gourmet Village, the heart of the resort, a place to relax, enjoy music, entertainment and food and drink offerings.
The Margaritaville Main Stage features seven of the resort's 10 restaurants and beverage venues, including Frank & Lola's Italian Trattoria for pasta, JWB Steakhouse for choice cuts and Mon So Wi for Pan-Asian specialties.
Adjacent to the infinity pool is the Rum Runners hotspot offering menus with specialties of the destination and the 5 o'Clock Somewhere bar and swim-up bar.
The Sports Hub includes activities including pickleball, tennis and aqua fitness classes; guests have a choice of treatments at the St. Somewhere Spa; and the Parakeet Kid's Club keeps the little ones busy.
Grand opening rates start at $209 per person, per night, double,4 for bookings through June 15 for travel from Oct. 1 through June 30, 2022.
