The Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina has announced Charlie Parker as the property's new general manager.

Parker, originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, joins the resort from Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, and his switch to the sister property brings him closer to his passion for the ocean and watersports.

Parker is a 22-year veteran in the hospitality industry, and the surfer, scuba diver, and navigator spent a year cruising the Maldives on the Four Seasons Explorer, a luxury, live-aboard dive vessel. Two posts in the Middle East followed, including Sharm El Sheikh Egypt, before he returned to England at the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, where he was promoted to general manager in 2011.

"There is so obviously a rich history on this side of the island," Parker said in a statement. "Ko Olina, as a destination, has everything: culture, food, farms, surfing, fishing, diving, the rugged beauty of the coast. I'm very grateful and excited to be here."
