Hilton Hotels and Resorts has promoted John Hawley to the position of area director of sales and marketing for both the Hilton Hawaii Village in Honolulu and the Hilton Waikoloa Village on Hawaii Island.
During the last two-and-a-half years Hawley has served as the sales and marketing director for Hilton Hawaiian Village, and he previously held a similar role at the Hilton Baltimore.
He will oversee sales operations at both Hilton Hawaiian Village and Hilton Waikoloa Village in addition to managing the recently created Hilton Hawaii sales complex organization, a combination of remote and Hawaii-based large group sales staff who sell both resorts.
"John has done a phenomenal job at Hilton Hawaiian Village," Duke Ah Moo, vice president and commercial director with Hilton Hawaii, said in a release. "We are confident that our other signature resort, Hilton Waikoloa Village, will greatly benefit from his leadership."
