Outrigger Hospitality Group has appointed Brian Lynx area director of sales and marketing for the Hawaiian Islands.

Lynx's responsibilities include developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, and his immediate focus is on the relaunch of the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, the company's flagship property that recently underwent an $80 million renovation.
The company's portfolio in the Aloha State also includes the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger, Waikiki Malia by Outrigger and Ohana Waikiki East by Outrigger.
Lynx most recently worked as a hospitality consultant and served as senior director of sales, strategy and innovation at the Grand Wailea on Maui. Lynx also previously served as vice president of sales at the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
