Hotels across the Hawaiian Islands saw occupancy and average daily room rates (ADR) increase year over year for the week ending May 28.
Statewide occupancy for Hawaii hotels climbed 2.7 percentage points to 81.9%, according to a weekly survey by Hospitality Advisors and STR.
Meanwhile, ADR across the Aloha State increased 4.1% to $231.55.
Hotels were busiest on Oahu, where occupancy climbed 3 percentage points over the same week last year to 88.6%. Rooms were most expensive, however, on Maui where ADRs inched up less than a percentage point to $278.69.
