The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is offering two specialty programs, for tennis fans and foodies, during the second half of 2017.
From August 7-11 former tennis pro and Grand Slam champion Michael Chang will host an “Insider Tennis Camp.” Limited to 16 participants, the camp will offer on- and off-court instruction and training sessions led by Chang and other tennis professionals, such as former pro circuit players Todd Martin and Jon Wertheim. There will also be education and tips from nutritionists and athletic trainers.
The five-day Michael Chang’s Tennis Insider Camp is available to Four Seasons guests for $5,000 per person.
From October 4-8 the resort's “Chef Fest” will host a food and wine festival with a lineup of award-winning chefs such as Neal Fraser, Gabrielle Hamilton, Edward Lee, Ivan Orkin, Andy Ricker and Jonathan Waxman.
New this year, the festival features a pop-up kitchen in the resort herb garden where celebrity chefs will lead intimate cooking sessions for guests. Four mixologists will also lead cocktail classes, with an emphasis on Hawaiian ingredients, at the resort’s adults-only pool.
Prices for the various food and drink-inspired events vary from $40 to $175. There is a package available from October 2-10 in which Four Seasons guests receive a credit of $150 per night to use on Chef Fest events with their booking of four nights of accommodations.
