Grand Velas Riviera Maya is giving kids access to its 206 acres of nature with the Jungle Adventure Experience.
This guided ecotour takes kids on an adventure to discover mangroves, the natural flora and fauna of the Yucatan and a freshwater cenote. They will learn how to make ecofriendly paper and take part in a traditional Mayan butterfly-release ceremony.
Each child who participates receives a kit with binoculars, flora and fauna guide, a puzzle, Grand Velas baseball cap and a bottle of water. Lunch is included at the resort's Mayan restaurant, Chaka.
The private experience costs $375 for the day for up to five people.
