Riviera Maya's Unico 2087 is gearing up to launch its second annual gastronomy series, Superb Summer. The event will be held from July 17 through Aug. 25 and features six chef takeovers. Each week a different chef will takeover the hotel's restaurants and mold them into their own culinary visions.
This year's series includes:
July 17-21: Chef Roberto Ruiz of Punta MX in Madrid, Spain
July 24-28: Chef Maria Jose San Roman from Monastrell in Alicante, Spain
July 31-Aug. 4: Chef J. Antonio Medina of A'Barra Restaurante in Madrid, Spain
Aug. 7-11: Chef Abel Hernandez from Eloise Restaurante in Mexico City
Aug. 14-18: Chef Daniel Patterson, founder of Daniel Patterson Group in California
Aug. 21-25: Chef Angel Leon from Aponiente Restaurante in Malaga, Spain
