The luxurious Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto by Danzante Bay wrapped up a $42 million expansion at the end of 2021. The resort, located in Baja's hidden jewel town of Loreto, has added 158 rooms, including beautifully decorated penthouses and oceanfront suites that overlook the Sea of Cortez. Part of the investment also included a new boulevard with panoramic views and bike lanes and an underground fiber optic network.
The penthouses and suites feature a variety of warm earth tones, light-colored rugs and handmade lamps. Every accommodation includes a kitchen, as well. The dining venues were expanded to accommodate more guests. Dinner is now offered at the hilltop golf clubhouse and at the resort's beach restaurant.
