Green Safaris will open a new luxury tented eco-camp, Shawa Luangwa Camp, in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia, in June.

The camp, which can host a maximum of 10 guests, will comprise four tents, including one family tent, with private decks overlooking the Luangwa River. Facilities will include a main boma (communal outside area) and a swimming pool. Activities will include game drives using electric vehicles for silent safaris, among others.

To reach the camp, guests fly from Lusaka to Mfuwe, followed by a one-hour drive to the camp.

Green Safaris' portfolio includes Ila Safari Lodge in Kafue National Park, the Chisa Busanga Camp in Busanga Plains and Shawa Luangwa Camp in Zambia, and Kaya Mawa on Likoma Island in Malawi.
