The Anantara Zanzibar Resort, a luxury, waterfront property, is expected to open its doors on the Indian Ocean island in 2020.
The resort will feature 100 guestrooms alongside 50 one- and two-bedroom pool villas. Leisure facilities will include a luxury spa and wellness center, a gym, a kid's club and a teen's club plus a selection of restaurants and bars.
The Anantara Zanzibar Resort will be part of the Zanzibar Amber Resort, a mixed-use project that will offer a retail souk, a tropical aqua park, a marina and an equestrian center and international polo club. In addition, the Zanzibar Amber Resort will feature East Africa's first signature golf course, which is confirmed to be designed by Ernie Els.
