Safari operator Robin Pope Safaris has announced it is setting up a 10-bed, semipermanent John's Camp in Mana Pools in Zimbabwe. The camp was named after renowned African safari guide John Stevens.
Mana Pools, a Unesco World Heritage site, is situated in the heart of roughly 4,600 square miles of the Zambezi Valley. The park is one of the most outstanding walking locations in Zimbabwe and among the last remaining wild-walking parks in Africa.
Ton de Rooy, managing director of Robin Pope Safaris, said: "We are thrilled to add John's Camp to Robin Pope Safaris. We believe we share the same values and vision, and we look forward very much to growing the Robin Pope Safaris footprint in this special part of Africa."
John's Camp will be open from April 14 to Nov. 30.
