Alaska Airlines has partnered with NBA player Kevin Durant to outfit a plane with 50-foot images of the Golden State Warriors star.
The specially decaled 737-900ER aircraft includes an exterior graphic of Durant, arms extended and covering approximately 560 square feet of fuselage. Six mechanic and electrical technicians spent nearly 144 hours completing the installation.
Durant's partnership with the airline supports educational programs and youth initiatives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Kevin Durant aircraft will serve Alaska Airlines destinations in the contiguous U.S. for 12 to 18 months.
