The lobby at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes will feature a life-size gingerbread house created by their team of in-house pastry chefs. Guests can use the professionally built house as inspiration for their own gingerbread creations during the Gingerbread School events at the hotel, running on select days from Nov. 30 to Dec. 22. Guests can join pastry chefs at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. for a family session with premade gingerbread panels and a wide array of candy decorations to apply to the house.
The Gingerbread School costs $195 for a family of four and includes a $10 donation to the Children's Miracle Network plus their names on a brick at Santa's Workshop, where the activity will take place.
Additionally, on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m., guests age 21 and up can enjoy the hotel's Bubbles & Ginger event, which includes Champagne and savory appetizers plus the opportunity to make their own gingerbread houses. The event costs $255 per party of four; reservations are required and can be made by calling (407) 393-4648.
