Legoland Florida will finish its latest expansion on Jan. 12 with the opening of Lego Ninjago World.
The new land at the Winter Haven theme park is inspired by Lego's Ninjago building sets and the television show, "Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu." Lego is promoting Ninjago World as "a magical martial arts kingdom where you become the ninja in your very own Ninjago adventure."
The area will be highlighted by Lego Ninjago: The Ride, a 3-D simulator in which guests score points using ninja hand moves to blast fireballs and other weapons at approaching villains.
Other Ninjago World attractions will include Zane's Temple Build, in which participants use Legos to help build a mountaintop monastery; a climbing wall called Cole's Rock Climb; and Kai's Spinners, in which riders are twirled around on single-person platforms.
