Sugar Factory American Brasserie, the candy-themed restaurant and retail shop that previously occupied a Strip-side corner of Paris Las Vegas, will return to the city this December with an eatery inside the Fashion Show Mall.

The 17,700-square-foot venue will be the company's largest location, spread over two stories with an indoor dining room, a pair of patios, a cafe, a confectionary shop and a chocolate lounge. If that sounds a little over the top, there's also a 14-seat carousel set among a garden of candy flowers. This is Vegas, after all.

And this is something of a homecoming for the sweets-and celebrity-driven restaurant that launched on the Strip in 2009. While that original location has closed, Sugar Factory's American Brasserie concept has expanded to New York, Miami Beach, Chicago, Orlando and Dubai. In addition, the company's retail shop has locations in Bahrain, at the Miracle Mile Shops in Vegas and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Fashion Show outpost will feature Sugar Factory's signature candy land array of confections, including rainbow doughnuts, homemade ice cream and bulk candy. Inside the chocolate lounge, guests can order chocolate pizzas and sip on dessert cocktails served in chocolate-dipped glassware. In the restaurant, the savory items seem like pretext for signature desserts. Grab 11 of your closest friends to tackle the 24-scoop King Kong Sundae or order up a 60-ounce cocktail goblet garnished with candy, of course.

Sin City is about to get much, much sweeter.
