Austrian Airlines on July 1 will launch new nonstop service between Boston and Vienna, Austrian parent company Lufthansa Group announced Tuesday. The company claims this is the first time there will be nonstop flights between the two cities.

The flights will operate five times weekly, each Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, plus every other Tuesday.

The route will use Boeing 767-300ER aircraft configured into three classes: 24 business-class seats, 30 premium-economy seats and 157 economy seats, according to Lufthansa.
