Emirates has announced it will cover medical expenses of up to 150,000 euros (about $175,000) and quarantine costs of 100 euros ($116) per day for 14 days for passengers who are diagnosed with Covid-19 during their travel.

Emirates customers on flights on or before Oct. 31 are eligible for the coverage, which is provided by Nextcare (part of Allianz Group). The coverage is valid for 31 days from the date of departure and ends upon passengers' return to their home countries. It does not include Covid-19 testing expenses.

Customers seeking to claim the coverage can find more details at www.emirates.com/COVID19assistance.
