Lufthansa has taken delivery of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The aircraft is one of 32 Dreamliners that Lufthansa expects to receive by 2027.

For training purposes, the plane will be deployed in October on domestic German routes from Frankfurt. Its first overseas route will be Frankfurt-Toronto.

Lufthansa said it will configure its Dreamliners with business, premium economy and economy classes. All business-class seats will have aisle access.

Earlier this month, the FAA allowed 787 deliveries to resume following a 15-month suspension that was caused by manufacturing defects.
