Southwest and Spirit have each announced two new network destinations for May and June.

Southwest will add Destin, Fla. on May 6, followed by Bozeman. Mont. on May 27.

The carrier will serve Baltimore, Dallas Love Field and Chicago Midway daily from Destin, a popular beach destination located on the Florida Panhandle. It will serve Nashville from that city three times daily.

From Bozeman, Southwest will fly twice daily to Las Vegas and up to four times daily to Denver.

The addition of both cities is in keeping with Southwest's pandemic-era strategy of broadening its network of leisure-catering destinations.

Spirit will begin flying to Louisville, Ky., on May 27 and to Milwaukee on June 24.

From Louisville, the discount carrier will fly daily to Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Orlando. From Milwaukee, Spirit will fly daily to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Orlando.

Spirit will be the only airline flying nonstop from either Louisville or Milwaukee to Los Angeles.
