United announced Wednesday that it plans to begin daily service between Newark and Buenos Aires on Oct. 28.

The route will be United’s 14th to South America and its second to Buenos Aires. The carrier already serves the Argentinean capital from Houston.

United will be the only airline servicing Newark-Buenos Aires. But it will compete against American and Aerolineas Argentinas, both of which fly to Buenos Aires from JFK, according to the website Flight Connections.

United will fly the route on 767-300 aircraft.
