Calling all buccaneers: The Beak and Barrel tavern is now open in Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The pirate-themed watering hole in Adventureland opened on Aug. 29, featuring a number of nods to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and film franchise. Reservations are recommended.

Inside, several rooms offer a variety of themed seating, including the Mess, the Mapmaker's Room and the Captain's Quarters. Cast members and Rummy the parrot promise an entertaining visit; Rummy is remarkably similar to the Barker Bird that once sat at the entrance to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

Guests are admitted for 45-minute experiences inside the space, with a limit of two alcoholic drinks per guest.

The Beak and Barrel offers several food items, like Kraken's Klatch, a cold salad of octopus tentacles, and Island Provisions, a dish of tortilla chips, flatbread and plantain chips served with a variety of dips.

It also features a menu of cocktails, wines, spirits and beers, as well as nonalcoholic drinks. The Plunderer's Punch comes in a souvenir pirate skull mug and features Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, lime and vanilla.

Themed merchandise is available next door at the Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar.
