Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort is currently accepting reservations ahead of its Dec. 1 opening in Punta Mita, Mexico. It is Four Seasons' first adults-only tented resort in the Americas.
The 48-acre resort near Puerto Vallarta sits along the northern tip of Bahía de Banderas, roughly five minutes away from the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.
The resort will offer 15 standalone tents, all designed by high-end alternative lodging specialist Luxury Frontiers. Each of the resort's tented accommodations will feature an open-air living room with separate bedroom, a private plunge pool and a deck outfitted with a hammock and outdoor shower.
Naviva will also be home to Copal, a dining/common area intended to feel like the "living room and kitchen of a private home," according to Four Seasons. The venue will be stocked with handmade games, including backgammon and a foosball table made with reclaimed wood. The space's Copal Cocina restaurant will showcase open-fire cooking methods.
On the wellness front, Naviva will offer cocoon-shaped "spa pod" treatment areas, where guests can opt for therapies that incorporate indigenous ingredients such as reishi and snow mushrooms as well as natural gemstones and clays found throughout Mexico.
The spa and wellness facilities will also have a traditional Mexican temazcal sweat lodge, a pool and an outdoor gym with ocean views.

Guests at Naviva will be able to take part in a variety of "Unscripted Naviva" experiences available on property, including small-batch Mexican coffee sampling and stargazing.
Guests will be granted access to the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, which has ten restaurants and bars, two golf courses, three pools, two beaches and additional spa and fitness programming.
Naviva's luxury tents start at $3,950 per night, inclusive of all meals and snacks, 24-hour in-tent dining, pool and beach service, all beverages including premium wine and spirits, one 60-minute spa treatment per guest and a variety of activities, classes and other amenities.
Select experiences, specialty beverages, additional spa treatments, private classes or training, and airport transfers are available for an additional cost.
